Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and respond to health issues.
- Execute merchandising tasks: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes, and maintain cleanliness/safety.
- Sell merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Collaborate across store areas, follow policies, and foster a culture of belonging.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb, stoop, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and teamwork essential.
