Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Mira Loma, California, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to pets and moderate noise.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and standards; stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and respond to sick/injured pets.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Support all store areas, follow policies, and contribute to a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers.
