Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets; administer vet-directed meds.
- Keep store spotless, manage merchandising, price changes, and product recovery to sales floor standards.
- Sell products, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet lovers welcome! You need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
