Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Nashua, NH store, you'll engage with pet parents and their pets, provide exceptional service, and uphold our vision of pet safety and store excellence. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet care, and chances to make moments that matter every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, and support price changes/promotions.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets and assist across store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to stand, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic retail environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
