Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in North Attleboro, MA, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet interaction, and the chance to build retail skills in a fun, pet-loving atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
• Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administering vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, and support price changes/promotions.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
