Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Manage pet health: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Uphold cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, and support pricing/promotions.
- Sell products/services/live pets, promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; respond to sick pets and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet lovers welcome! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing, ladder use, animal exposure). Depth perception and team-lifting for heavier items essential.
