Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online pickups.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respond to pet health issues by transporting to vets as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50 lbs, standing, climbing). Comfort with animals, wet environments, and moderate noise essential. Flexibility for variable shifts required.
