Role Overview
Our part-time Retail Sales Associates (Pet Associates) deliver exceptional pet parent experiences, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. Based in Ontario, California, this entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hands-on pet interaction and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats—including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety by monitoring pets, handling emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate across store areas, recommend products/services, and embody our Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
