Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order fulfillment, and seamless checkouts.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals; administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Promote sales of merchandise, services, live pets, and events such as adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety by maintaining cleanliness, monitoring pet health, and transporting sick pets to vets as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet lovers welcome! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and tolerance for moderate noise/animal exposure essential.
