Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Palm Springs, CA, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care while working flexibly evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish.
- Maintain cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety: monitor pets, transport sick/injured to vet, administer medications as directed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Flexibility for variable shifts essential.
