Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Panama City, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining store standards. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a fun pet-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent service in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide daily care for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals including feeding, cleaning, and vet transport if needed.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and recommend products/services to boost sales.
- Assist across store areas and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled setting.
