Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates in Parker, Colorado, deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexibility and hands-on pet interaction in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and animal handling comfort essential.
