As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Phoenix, AZ, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, perfect for animal lovers seeking impactful work with evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock merchandise, and recover sales floor.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; handle sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments.
