Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are the heart of the store, delivering exceptional pet parent experiences, maintaining pet safety standards, and keeping our stores spotless. This entry-level role offers flexibility and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication admin as directed.
- Execute merchandising: facing products, price changes, recovery to sales floor standards.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Maintain safety for associates, pets, and customers; handle sick pets promptly.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – pet lovers welcome! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments.
