Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, and support price changes/promotions.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; handle sick/injured pets promptly.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing). Passion for pets, teamwork, and customer focus are key. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments is common.
