Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Rogers, Arkansas, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and a pathway to career advancement in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions; greet customers and prepare online orders.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), administer vet-directed medications, and respond to sick/injured pets.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes/promotions, and recommend sales/services/live pets.
- Maintain cleanliness/safety standards and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Flexibly support all store areas, including services, while following policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, offer schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), and meet physical demands: lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, climbing, handling animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
