Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Manage pet health: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds; respond to sick pets.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes/promotions.
- Promote sales, services, events like adoptions and Treats enrollment; ensure safety for all.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist across store areas as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physically demanding: lift 50lbs+, climb, stoop, handle animals in moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
