As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in San Antonio, Texas, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish), and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise, services, events like adoptions.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and respond to pet health issues by transporting to vets as needed.
- Collaborate across store areas, including services, fostering a culture of belonging.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who stay composed under pressure, handle 50+ lb lifts, climb ladders, and thrive in pet-filled environments with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions. Flexibility and teamwork essential.
