Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order fulfillment, and sales recommendations.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, price changes, recover sales floor, stage new inventory.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, charity drives; ensure safety for associates, pets, parents.
- Respond to sick/injured pets, transport to vet; assist across store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, ladder use, animal handling in moderate-noise, pet-hair environment. Reasonable accommodations available.
