Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
- Assist across store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Passion for pets is essential.
