Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Support all store areas, maintain cleanliness, and follow company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in noisy/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items needed.
