Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Saratoga Springs, Utah, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care. Enjoy flexibility while contributing to a thriving pet community.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online; greet, answer questions, prepare pick-ups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish); administer vet-directed meds.
- Maintain cleanliness, support pricing/promos, stage/stock products, face/fill shelves.
- Sell merchandise/services/live pets, promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates/pets/parents; handle sick pets, assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physically demanding: stand/walk/lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle animals, work in pet hair/wet/noisy environments. Reasonable accommodations available.
