Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets immediately.
- Assist across store areas including services, maintaining cleanliness and merchandising.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – we train you! Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals). Passion for pets is key.
Physical Demands & Environment
Expect standing, lifting, ladder use, and exposure to pets, pet hair, moderate noise, and wet areas. Team lifts for heavier items.
