Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Timmins, you'll deliver exceptional pet parent experiences, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hands-on pet interaction and retail support.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide direct pet care: feed/water/clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds; respond to sick pets.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill/recover products, stage new items, handle price changes/promotions.
- Promote sales, services, events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and company policies across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing/walking, ladder use). Love for pets and flexibility are key. Work environment includes live animals, moderate noise, wet areas, and pet hair.
