Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Tomball, Texas, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, and uphold our vision for pet care. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct animal care while enjoying a flexible schedule and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, and support pricing/promotions.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, handle physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing), and embrace flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments is part of the fun.
