Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Toronto, Ontario store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, and maintain store standards. This entry-level role shares pet care, cleanliness, and sales responsibilities while upholding our vision for pet happiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), administer vet-directed meds.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain sales floor standards.
• Recommend products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; handle sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet areas is common.
