Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Trinity, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share in store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care while supporting sales and services in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish), and vet-directed medications.
- Maintain pristine store standards, stock shelves, face products, and handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Bring strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and teamwork essential.
