As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in University Heights, Ohio, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining cleanliness and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent service in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain store standards for cleanliness, safety, and merchandising; respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to drive sales and satisfaction.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing). Thrive in a fast-paced environment with live animals, moderate noise, and pet hair.
