PetSmart's Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Upland, CA, delivers exceptional pet parent experiences, cares for store pets, and maintains a clean, safe store. This entry-level role involves customer engagement, sales, merchandising, and pet care, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales recommendations.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet transport.
- Execute merchandising tasks: facing products, price changes, recovery, and event promotions.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers while following all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required, but pet enthusiasts shine here. You'll need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Flexibility and a positive attitude are key.
