Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Victoria store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, ideal for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and visual standards through stocking, facing, recovery, and price updates.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Respond to pet health issues, transport to vet if needed, and assist across departments.
Experience & Skills
