Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in our Waterloo Ontario store you'll engage pet parents and their pets delivering positive experiences. Share responsibility for store cleanliness pet safety and direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service in person phone at register and online including online order prep
- Care for store-owned pets feed water clean habitats birds reptiles small animals fish and administer medications
- Maintain store standards through cleaning merchandising price changes and product recovery
- Recommend sell merchandise services and live pets promote events like adoptions and Treats
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers respond to sick/injured pets and assist store-wide
Experience & Skills

- Excellent communication skills
- Schedule flexibility for evenings weekends holidays
- Composure under pressure
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift 50lbs team lift 100lbs climb ladders work in pet hair environments with moderate to high noise and live animal exposure. Reasonable accommodations available.
