Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates in Webster, NY, deliver exceptional pet parent experiences, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to work across departments and grow your retail career.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales at register.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets – including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and respond immediately to sick/injured pets.
- Support store operations, merchandising, and team efforts in a fast-paced pet retail setting.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – just a love for pets! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, handle physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing), and embrace flexibility. Comfort with live animals, moderate noise, and wet/hairy environments is essential.
