As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Willoughby, Ohio, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain an exceptional store experience. This entry-level role supports sales, cleanliness, and pet safety, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and vet transports.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals). Exposure to pets, moderate noise, and wet environments is common.
