Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Windsor, ON, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain an exceptional store environment. This entry-level role supports sales, pet health, and operations, perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Drive sales by recommending merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain store standards: cleanliness, merchandising, price changes, stocking, and recovery.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Vision for depth perception needed.
