Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, uphold store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility, pet interaction, and career pathing in a fun retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
• Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock merchandise, and recover sales floor.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; handle sick/injured pets promptly.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
