Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, perfect for animal lovers seeking impactful retail work in Woodstock, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store standards through cleaning, merchandising, product recovery, pricing updates, and stocking.
- Recommend merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety: identify sick/injured pets, transport to vet, and support all store areas as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – we train you! Ideal candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing, climbing). Love for pets and flexibility are key. Exposed to animals, moderate noise, wet areas – reasonable accommodations available.
