Role Overview
Our Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) is the heart of the store, delivering outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for live pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This part-time position in York, Pennsylvania, requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling animals in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and emergency vet transport.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Promote products, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
- Uphold safety standards for associates, pets, and customers while supporting all store areas.
Experience & Skills
