Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are the heart of the store, delivering exceptional pet parent experiences, maintaining cleanliness, and providing direct care for store pets like birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales at register.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats, administer vet-directed meds, and respond to sick/injured pets.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards for associates, pets, and customers while assisting across all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – just a passion for pets! Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments.
