Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver exceptional service; conduct walks, monitor compliance, and manage inventory.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; lead events and community partnerships; oversee opening/closing procedures.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer focus, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must excel in delegation, communication, problem-solving, and fostering empowerment in a fast-paced environment.

- Ensure exceptional pet parent service and resolve escalated concerns
- Conduct store walks, monitor cameras, and maintain compliance with policies
- Drive profitability through inventory management, events, and strategic execution
- Foster associate engagement and development through recognition and training
