Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key targets, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business efficiently while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; build an open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, and engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; resolve customer concerns; conduct compliance walks; oversee inventory and events.
- Business Management: Drive profitability, analyze metrics, execute strategies, and communicate objectives to the team.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. - Handle store opening/closing and emergency pet care
