Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage escalations; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee openings/closings and inventory.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team motivation, process optimization, compliance enforcement, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
