Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive results, and ensure exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through reviews, recognition, and succession planning.
  • Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards via walks and audits, manage inventory, and prioritize a safe environment.
  • Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing priorities.

Experience & Skills
