Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive results, and ensure exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety and health; maintain store standards; conduct Core and Services Walks; manage inventory and events; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safe environments and compliance.
Experience & Skills
