Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver outstanding customer service; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and compliance; lead events and community partnerships.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute strategies for profitability; communicate objectives; prioritize safe environments and operational efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 5+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, financial oversight, and pet care. Key skills include strategic delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and adaptability to dynamic retail environments. Passion for pets and flexibility with varied schedules required.
