Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and all HR functions. You'll drive company culture and strategies, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety; maintain store standards; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and events.
- Operational Excellence: Drive financial outcomes; evaluate processes for improvement; ensure policy compliance; prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, and ability to achieve sales targets. Excel in communication, delegation, conflict resolution, and fostering engagement in fast-paced environments.
