Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while achieving key targets through exceptional service and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead pet parent interactions; maintain standards via monthly walks; prioritize safety; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze metrics and root causes; communicate objectives; review cameras for coaching; handle sick pets and store procedures.
Experience & Skills
