Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and foster engagement through recognition and open-door policies.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; handle escalations, conduct audits, manage inventory, and lead events with adoption partners.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by analyzing performance, executing strategies, monitoring cameras for compliance, and addressing pet health issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail management, proven team leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement in fast-paced settings.
