Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement via open-door culture and Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions, events, compliance walks, inventory, and safety protocols including camera reviews and vet transports.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by analyzing performance, executing strategies, communicating objectives, and optimizing processes for sales and efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financial accountability. Passion for pets, strong delegation, adaptability, and commitment to empowerment and results are essential. Flexible availability required.
