Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions; conduct monthly walks; maintain inventory and compliance; review cameras for safety; partner on events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safe environments and process improvements.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in P&L management, team motivation, and customer-centric operations. Passion for pets and ability to thrive in dynamic environments required.
