Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee events and inventory compliance.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance metrics; communicate objectives; handle openings/closings and emergency pet care.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer focus, and operational expertise. Pet care passion, financial acumen, and flexibility for varied shifts are essential. You'll excel in delegation, problem-solving, and building high-performing teams.
